Staff and Leadership

Rev Jim East, Senior Minister

Jim became the senior minister at St A's in early 2014, coming to us from Norwich Central Baptist Church. As part of his work here at St A's Jim works as Police Chaplain based out of Parkside. Jim is married to Debbie, and they have 3 children, 2 of whom are in the youth group at St A's and one of whom is now at university elsewhere. Jim loves swimming, spending time with his family and having an encyclopedic knowledge of every movie and TV show ever made.

Eileen Geoff
Eileen Hori, Church Administrator
Geoff Warren, Musical Director

Eileen has been the administrator here since May 2013. She is enjoying getting to know other church administrators in Cambridge and also, through UCAN, across the country. She first attended St A's in the late '80s while studying at Clare College, Cambridge, where she met her husband Ken. After    living in Tokyo and then London they returned to Cambridge and St A's in 1998. Ken and Eileen have 4 children, 3 in the youth group and 1 in JAM (Jesus and Me, the junior church at St A's) which Eileen also oversees. Eileen is also the administrator for Cambridge Street Pastors.

Geoff has been a member at St A's for many years, and has always been heavily involved in church life. Geoff plays the organ, piano, and bass guitar and has been known to whip out a melodica on special occasions.

Hazel Church, Admin Assistant
Steve Sewell, Caretaker

Hazel was born in Coventry and brought up in sunny north east England. She studied languages    at Bradford University before ending up in Cambridge. She works at St A's on Wednesdays and Fridays, and also works at Eden Baptist Church, as well as looking after her four children. Outside work she enjoys     running, baking and knitting.

Steve has been the Caretaker at St A's since 2006. Steve works extemely hard to ensure not only the continued cleanliness and smooth running of the building, but also - along with Eileen -  that the numerous people booking the rooms around church are well looked after.
