Welcome to St A's

Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, you are very welcome.

Where & when does the church meet?

St A's meets every Sunday morning at 10:45am with various gatherings throughout the week. Please see the Calendar for details.

Find us at:
43 St Andrew's Street
Cambridge
CB2 3AR

We are located in the city centre between the Mandela House Council Offices and the Art Cinema/Wetherspoons Pub..

You can see a map on our contact us page.

We are very centrally located so we hope you will be able to walk or cycle to us or use public transport. There are public cycle racks both in front of the church and on Downing Place.
Buses and Trains: We are five minutes walk south (past John Lewis) from the central bus station or approximately 20 minutes walk from Cambridge train station.
Cars:  We don't have our own car park.  There are disabled parking bays in the front of the church on St Andrew's Street.  The closest public car park is the Grand Arcade (park in the lower car park and exit on to Downing Street); Queen Anne car park is only 10 minutes walk away across Parker's Piece. Details of city council car parks can be found here and many use the Park and Ride sites around the city.

What can I look forward to when I visit?

You will receive a warm welcome from our Welcome Team. Our services focus on exploring the Bible, musical worship and sharing a time of prayer and fellowship. We enjoy a mix of modern and traditional elements in our worship.  We place an emphasis on preaching and teaching.  Everyone gathers together for the first part of the service, and then the children and young people usually head off to their own age-related groups.

After the service, we meet in the café area for a hot drink and fellowship.

Children and Young People

Children and young people are valued very much at St A's. They stay in for the first part of the service and then will head off to JAM (Jesus and Me - junior church) in the Upper Hall or StAY 155 (11-17s activities) in the Attic.  We provide a creche for the youngest children (0-3s), which is found in our Lower Hall.

For more information about what happens in the children's work please follow the links under Church Life or contact us.
